The better idea would be if the customer has those hours and they don't allow access outside of the hours that they operate in perhaps Schneider shouldn't be booking loads during those hours? LOL

I looked all over that place for a mail box or any place that the bills would be. Wasted two hours screwing around there. Oh well.

I’ve been pretty busy recently. I took about 8 days at home form my son’s birthday and other stuff. I got rolling last Monday with a beer load from Golden, CO to Mankato, MN. That was pretty straight forward except I could only fuel about 50 gallons at a time because the shipper loaded the trailer really nose heavy. Kind of a pain, but I wasn’t going to wait around while they reworked it.

After that I deadheaded 300+ miles to Green Bay for a load paying really well going to Tunkhannock, PA. Even with the deadhead it was a great paying load. The problem came when the load I had lined up out of PA canceled and I already had a load from OH that was good that I didn’t want to give up. SNI told me the load canceled the day before it was picking up. OK, so I got on the loadboard and found a replacement as quickly as I could and called and had them help me stick it in the spot in my schedule where the canceled load was. Instances like this are why picking your own loads and being an Owner/Operator can be overwhelming for some people.

So I did my PA delivery and was pleased to find that SNI has a drop yard with a mobile office trailer right next to the P&G plant I delivered to. I parked there for the night and got a shower in the trailer. Nice surprise.

The next day was a busy one. I drove about an hour to Scranton and got a load going to North Canton, OH. I drove that straight through and got it delivered with no issues. I then drove about 2 1/2 hours to Columbus, OH and got my next load and drove as far and long as my hours would allow and stopped just inside the OH border with IN. Long tiring day, but I got going the direction I needed to out of PA.

Today I drove up through Chicago and stopped just short of Green Bay. I have two deliveries tomorrow. Green Bay and Marquette, MI. Then I pick up Tuesday morning in the UP for a load down to Kansas City. From there I have a load to Loveland, CO and then hometime for a few days.

Got those two store deliveries done and picked up my load to Kansas City on Monday. I could have made the delivery to Kansas City 24 hours early, but the customer didn't want it until Thursday. I also could have gotten a 34 hour reset, but I didn't need one. Oh well. Took two days to get to Kansas City and spent Wednesday night at the drop yard there and delivered Thursday morning. Then I deadheaded 305 miles to Iowa to get my load to Loveland, CO. Even with the deadhead, it paid $1.95 for all miles.

I got home Friday just after noon and I have a load out to Ottawa, KS next Wednesday. Then a two stop store load from St. Joseph, MO into KS. From there I have a high paying load to MA and a few short high paying loads through the next week. The week will pay $4350 only working Wednesday through Monday. Not bad! :yes2557:

Oooo, sorry. Been busy. I'll update when I'm home this weekend. All is good. The rates out of Denver bite, but I've been running around Texas and Oklahoma doing just fine. I'll do a real update this weekend! :biggrin_25520:
