Signed for the truck today. Got the DOT inspection and dyno done also. Now waiting for my steak and eggs at the Sapp Bros. in Omaha. Only 1 inch blow by and hp at peak levels. Rated 435 hp, tested 356 hp true. Interstate Power said it was very good for a truck with 467k miles. Hoping to continue the good luck. I sent my 2290 to Schneider along with the title papers. Tomorrow I'll drop the truck at a secure lot in Omaha and head back to Denver. That's about all for now. One day at a time.

Congratulations on getting the truck please continue to post.

Got back to Denver early this evening. The truck is parked in Omaha waiting for me to pick it up on January 2nd. Was a bit snowy in eastern Nebraska this morning, but cleared up the farther west I got. Here are some pictures of the truck. I have decided to call her "White Lightning". Why White Lightning? Because "##### you better not break on me" might be offensive to some. Also, she is a former Swift truck and I think she deserves to have a noble name in her second life, so White Lightning it is!
Anyway, here are some pictures.

Looks like a nice truck. Hope it runs well for you. Nice big windows on those international sleepers. Looks like you got room for 3 more gauges, boost and pryometer would be great additions. I'll tell you one thing though about the best money I have ever spent was getting a nice head unit, a small amp, and 4 nice speakers for a truck. I moved my head unit and amp and 2 of the small speakers that I originally bought for my Cascadia into the T600, but it has no place to mount the 6x9 speakers yet... need to fix that soon. NOTHING beats driving with some good music. The Challenger and skyviper73 Thank this.

Yup, gotta have my tunes! As for the gauges, It doesn't have a suspension load gauge, that is my first install, along with a block heater, that it also doesn't have and I don't want to do damage to my injectors cold starting it. I got a block heater for $71.00, so as usual, the part is cheap, the install will be a few hundred dollars, unless I do it myself, and I would have to get a really big container of some sort to catch all the coolant that has to be drained to install the heater. Hmmm.

About 3 5 gallon HD/Lowes buckets have always done the job for me. Dunno how low the rad drain sits on the Prostars. On the Cascadia I had to run a tube into the buckets out the front. On the T600 it sits high enough the bucket could just fit right under the drain and I could pull it out once full from between the frame and tire.skyviper73 and Jrdude5 Thank this.

Thanks for the good info. I will have to look at it once I get back to the truck. I would love to have brought the truck home to Denver with me, but that didn't make much sense, burning all that fuel just to drive it back up to Green Bay in two weeks. It would be nice to have it sitting outside my house to mess with for 2 weeks, but not nice enough to burn all that fuel. So, I will have to wait two weeks to see where the drain for the coolant is, ect.

Did you toggle through your dash readout looking for your load gauge? I have had three prostars and all had the electronic load gauge including the 09 I have now.
skyviper73 Thanks this. -
Wow, really? I toggled through the screens, but I really didn't look too closely at what was showing. I never though to look there for the load reading. What would it show bobtail? Nothing? Thanks for the heads up, I'll look it when I get back to the truck.
