Well looks like I will be going to Schneider soon, just got home from taking the physical and drug screens this morning. once I get the clearamce i will be goijng to Dallas for a week then back home and out with a trainer for 7-14 days, then get my own truck if all goes well that is. I am keeping my fingers crossed that there are no more road blocks in my way. I had to get clearance letters from my dr's for my sleep apnea, and my ortho dr for my achilles tendon. all that came through yesterday. just talked to recruiting and was told i should get the info on orientation some time before tommorow morning.

Hang tough! It might help that Schneider is a larger carrier...maybe some more flexibility. I dunno but I hope it all works out. Stay in touch!

Well I wish I had good news but that is not the case. I did not pass the pre work physical screen, so I am back home. I made it 2/3 of the way through it thought i had it made and my heart rate spiked up. I am disappointed I felt Scneider was going to be a good company to work for. I have nothing bad to say about them everyone there treated me great and I enjoyed my brief time there. Anyway back to the drawning board i still have a few options working. And I can reapply with Schneider in 6 mos if i want to. I refuse to give up this was just not meant to be. I will keep y'all informed.

BTW, if I had done 3rd party for my CDL exam, your instructor from ICC would have been my examiner.

Sorry i have not posted more but have been out on the road runninig and it is a PITA posting from my phone i need to get a laptop soon. Any way all is going great. I hvae been staying real busy, the first week was a little slow but has steadily gotten better i have been running up in oh, mi, in, il, wi, pa, upstate ny, ma, ct, and nh. made it home to the memphis area this morning. and didi not have to beg to get home i did not even ask to come home this weekend but they got me here thougt that was pretty cool.. have not really been keeping close track of miles but i have been avg. about 750.00 a week and that is with 2 short weeks. my truck is set up really nice it is a freightliner business class, with a 76" aluma bunk sleeper, double bunk, refrigdeerator, microwave, and tv/dvd player, 1800 watt inverter. the only thing it does not have is a APU. i really like this expediting gig i think. once i get a load there is not much waiting. i did get detention once but it was not the companies fault, the people that ordered the product did not relay the info to their recieving dept. so i sat over night waiting for security to let me into their plant. but got paid $20 a hour to sleep sitting at their gate, worked for me. was not sure how i would like the electronic logs but i like them they are a breeze, and you never have to worry if they are right or not

Capitan, JustSonny and Blue Screen Thank this.
