I didn't know that was an option...I'm good to go now though, the other day my folks were going to front me the money for one and as I was in Love's looking at some, an old timer asked me if I would consider a used old unit he had, $20 later I had a CB!...I had to buy an antennae and mic but all good now!!!!!!!...It's a Uniden PC76XL...

Cabbage... Wolf Creek Pass on 160 between South Fork and Pagosa Springs Co.. and old US 71 between Fort Smith and Fayetteville. The Rockies on 70 don't bother me to much.. Donner is only tricky if you let it be, but I guess that could be said about all of um.

I always like watching all the training co. trucks go down Cabbage. They make it dangerous on that curvy 2 lane doing 5mph while other trucks are doing the suggested speed for their weight.

I am sure there was a time you went down it at 5mph too. So don't knock the newbs. Going slow is better than having a wreck. If you super truckers have a wreck, don't blame it on the newbs. You were the one driving!

Like my dad told me when I started driving . . . you can take a mountain pass too slow as many times as you want. You can only take it too fast once.
