my wife's cousin driving for a different milk hauler, red flags

    and most likely makes MORE money than roughly $17 to $20 per hour, and home daily too...!!!!

    I suggested to him to stop running hot. He said he is in compliance just barely but he is not illegal, he went through the dot 3 times... No violations. I guess since it is an agriculture product the first 150 miles do not have to be logged, it's a little exemption I was unaware of.

    Had one of our drivers tell me that soon all drivers staying local within 150 air miles will be 100% exempt from h.o.s. regulations. I don't know if that is accurate.

    The dot and the government have made all of this extirely too complicated. Cdl drivers of all types of driving must know all of the h.o.s. and exemptions.

    correct..if one is a food delivery driver, he/she must KNOW those HOS, if one transports bee's, he/she MUST KNOW those HOS...

    no need to know ALL the HOS if they do not apply to the type of operation one is doing specifically.
