You didn't read the contract and you signed/agreed to work as a company driver under a 1099.

So why are you now complaining?

Honestly bro I sorta feel for you but dang man I never signed a work contract that I didn't go over three or four times. That's your LIVLIHOOD right there! Good grief.

I read the small print contract. When I reached 4 numbers 1099... that's it Im gone. I don't own a truck and do not care to pretend I was a O/O with someone else's stuff.

Yes, indeed. That contract wasn't even very long. Once you saw they hold two weeks of pay for "escrow" and those bogus charges you should of ran. I could not find anything about this company on Google meaning they're probably operating under a different name now.

BTW, I like how these companies can create whatever BS contract they want and call it a legally binding agreement even if it clearly violates labor and tax laws. Discipline for load refusal? Isn't that the whole concept of being an independent contractor? That you can refuse any work assigned to you for any reason? They want to have their cake and eat it too. Hurr durr.

You signed THAT contract? No one to blame, but the person in your mirror.

They can do whatever they want because they know intelligent people don't sign up for this garbage.
