Awesome. Glad to see some new blood in the swift forum, you guys are doing exactly what my gf and I were doing in April of this year.
We teamed for 3 months as company then went lease op.
Keep in mind that "50 cpm" is best case scenario assuming you keep your "platinum" status. It can be done, you just may not have it every week, depending on freight, miles and work ethic.
Hit me up if you have questions about things when you get out on your own, or problems with mentors. I'll be glad to share my experience and help any that I can. I've learned alot about how to work within this system and get things done.

What is the CPM if your not/don't maintain platinum ?
MyecRunners Thanks this. -

The good news is, once freight picks back up, they took mentors and students off the 747 board (team freight) because they were screwing up JIT loads. So you guys should see good miles through the end of the year.
TruckDuo Thanks this. -
Also, how do you like the lease o/op? I've heard mixed things. It looks kind of pricy to go that route.
What are these "JIT" routes? I've heard some of that but don't understand the terminology.
I'm about 110 hours in to my mentor program. She's about 90. So about half way done. We're ready to get started together.TruckDuo Thanks this. -
Ok, .41 cpm split for teams is the base rate without bonus. For solos it's .35 cpm. Then you have the "statuses" (bronze, silver, gold, platinum, diamond) these depend on on time delivery, accident free, and the miles you run per week. If I remember correctly I figured it around 2300 or so for solos per week to maintain platinum and 4200 for teams.
Each rank tacks a different amount in cpm to your pay. For us as a company team, when we were platinum we split .50 cpm. Which is about as good as it gets here until you get some time under your belt.
Lease op is a long winded story and too much info to type out here, but I can pm you my number and we can discuss it in depth.
"JIT" isn't routes, it refers to loads. "JIT" is an acronym for "Just In Time", and as a team, these are your bread and butter. Our best team freight is fedex, UPS, saia, amazon, etc.
Just in time means that the load is trip planned at 45-50 mph and you have EXACTLY that much time to get there.
They're generally light, gravy runs. There is just no time for lollygagging.TruckDuo and MyecRunners Thank this. -

The ranking affects your bonus pay, it has nothing to do with your normal cpm pay. Starting out, you may have noticed a pay increase as you moved up in ranking, but that was more of a coincidence. You can lose a platinum ranking and not get a drop in cpm pay.

Hey guys, I've been having trouble with the lights at night on my eyes. Do you guys know if Amber lenses help at all?
