    No, the trailer release is that mushroom shaped air valve. These are electrical canbus buttons.

    I wouldn’t let that “mechanic” put air in my tires, much less anything else.....

    maybe he just wants a new bass boat and he knows the more customers With dd15’s the faster he can get it.. lol

    Wow, okay seriously.
    I have them also.
    They really are switches for Optional accessories to use as you please. No, they are not part of the Can Bus.
    Yes, they are direct fused 12 volt supply. The actual end of the wires are usually located on the driver side frame rail, bundled up and zip tied right under the sleeper. With quite a bit of extra length to them.
    They can be used for accessory lighting, over sized beacons, etc.
    I think they are fused for 20 amps.
