Mystery of the weigh stations?

As if you encourage that kind of behaviour................


If someone said "The DOT cop smashed out my taillight"" Would you say... "Well, Thats the way it is"

 

I don't have a problem with them playing a game about who they will pull in. If it's a RANDOM inspection why not have some fun with it?

I do however have a problem if they are bound and determined to fine any violation they can to win some sort of pool

 

I do not,in fact the 1 percent respect I did have for the scalemaster just left me after reading his post,but still its on you to take care of your trucks' issues..Dont come to calif and go 65 then cry about your speedng ticket &how we are commies out here to get you...bottom line violate the law get your ticket...And BTW you watch to much TV if you think a bear will bust your tail light to write you up.

 

I'm just saying dont whine about "it's my livelihood" ..when it's not..99% of the tickets you get you deserved..please note, there are always exceptions..however few.

 

they are bound and determined to find a violation to meet quotas more so than pools,which, should be more disturbing

I got pulled in for extra inspection at the south scale on the 15 at Rainbow 4 times in a row, I started waving at them as I went though and haven't had any problems since.

 

Did you get pulled over by the Rock ?

 

The SC scales on the NB side of 85 has it out for me. Every time I hit the weigh-in-motion out on the interstate, I have no more than 2,000lbs in the trailer. 9 times out of 10, I get pulled in and sent to the back to split-weigh. Then they make me sit there on the scales for 30-45 seconds then they tell me to exit. I can be in a line of trucks and I get pulled in even if I'm running with my dad (identical truck and trailer) I get pulled in and they tell him to bypass. I don't get it.
