make sure that the problem was not solved by the movement of the connectors on the ECM.the wiring near the connectors are a known problem,especially at the age of your truck.good luck.

I had one a couple of years ago that overfueled 1 cylinder and would cancel out the next injector in the firing order. Say 6 overfueled it would cancel 2.
That one drove me nuts for a short time.Kenan S Thanks this. -

Thanks for your input. After all the time spent, I have went all the way down to the ECM. Disconnected the wires and pulled the ECM out. Cleaned everything up and is now hitting. Not feeling real confident that it is fixed though....

Replaced the injector that overfueled.

I had the same problem, I found that the pin for the number 3 injector was push in just a little bit and was not making good contact at the ecm..reading were all good, but vibration going down the road would cause it to miss fire and burn it out.
