cumminskid. do you know what the injector transistor resistance is suppose to be?
also i check all ecu unswitched power they are good. i might just try it with a headlight to confirm current flow

Usually in those old volvos I've checked over and over and sometimes it never works unless u plug a new one in and test it
-
did not know that, anyways i just tried it, its still the same.
-
sent it to a local guy in manitoba, who fixes electronics, IF they can be repaired, ecm's are really fragile, if the circuit board is burnt or cracked, you might as well as get a new one or reman one and send your old one for core... does something happen at 1.7 million miles???
-
sorry i misread what you said, if your in the states you should check these guys out, and no i don't know what the resistance is suppose to be, you could maybe just take measurements of each circuit, and compare an average? just a suggestion, they have a pinout and whole engine wiring diagram on this site too.

I've heard of those guys did my buddy's elm they did a great job fast and reasonably priced
-
i couldnt get any resistance in the circuits. they were just open.
i did call a local guy who fixed all of our dash gauges. he said he'll see if he can do anything.
about the miles. ive heard that ecu's just tend to wear out with a lot of miles. -
ANYTHING is possible... lol everything does have a life span, so i agree it can wear out
as for the open circuit reading, in that circuit when the engine is running, its pulsing a ground to complete the circuit to open the nozzle, letting fuel out, so i believe thats why your not getting a reading, cause your trying to measure a normally open circuit. anyone please correct me if i'm wrong -
your probably right. i just figured id try. we'll see what the electrician says
-
please keep me posted what you fixed, or replaced, and how it goes
