Go big or go home right? I have apps in with other nontanker positions and companies as well. Might as well cover my bases

I was your age when I started with Schneider in 1992. In my opinion Schneider is a great starter company because they have many different avenues to take within the company. Dedicated runs, tank etc. They hold your hand which being a new guy you need. You will have a lot of questions and they have heard them all.

23 years later now I have never done flatbed and wish I would have when I could of. Schneider used to have flats. Anyway if you ever plan on Someday buying your own rig Learn Flatbed now that's where the money is for Owner ops.

Maybe in California, but not everywhere. They are picky about the school you graduated from though.

Do you know if Roadmaster is considered a good school for companies that are picky about that? Or does it just depend?

And I couldn't recommend against this advice strong enough. I was a trainer for SNBC for a while. Starting with tanks would make you a safer driver than one coming from van or flat. No bad habits to break.
