Nasty wreck on the Eastbound PA Turnpike at Midway rest stop.

    Don't know how it happened, but if you go into that rest area you aren't leaving until it's cleared.

    It's usually a good idea to just hang out in the left lane from the Bedford exit until you pass the rest areas (and the reverse going the other way) you don't want to come upon a heavy trying his damnedest to get up to 35 while climbing that hill.

    I REALLY dislike locating rest areas or scales at the bottom of steep grades for this very reason.

    Yeah I take the Turnpike often and there seem to be a lot of guys that do it exclusively.

    But people that don't, west coasters and rookies, maybe I should make a milepost by milepost guide and put in on another thread.
