I'm sure there have been massive changes. I remember when 90% of the trucks pulling NCI trailers were mostly 379 Petes and W9 K/W's, have not seen that in a while all company trucks. I had some good times there back in my days. I doubt anyone I know is still around at NCI a couple of the dispatchers and office ppl are a possibility.

moving from another thread I did not want to hijack another thread.

So I have been pre-hired for NCI they are asking when want to go to orientation. I am now waiting for final word from Roehl tomorrow. I am looking at both SW regions basically PHX to California. Just wondering who would YOU choose and WHY?
I am looking at running the SW regional for either company.

Everything I know on both companies if from this forum and just googling the companies. I know NCI is part of National beef and so there should really be not much sitting. Pay is .34-.38cpm depending on miles Greater or Less than 600 miles.
Roehl looks good their SW region is growing. Right now it is Phoenix to Los Angeles and San Diego. They are going through a pay change/increase right now Roehl would be .36cpm but that is going up.

I have sleep apnea so NCI I know has no APU's or inverters so that might be an issue. Roehl Allows inverters but no APU's. They will install the one you purchase in for you.

All NCI trucks I know has at least a 1500 inverter and some have 2500's. Only the T-680's have apu's. hope the best for you on whatever decision you go with Cage.

I've driven for Crete, I wasn't making money there, but that was me, not a horrible company could do much worse. With Crete 3 weeks before you can go home. According to website roehl has some nice hometime options. Don't know anything about nci

NCI looks good; inverters and good chance of getting a truck with APU.

Roehl phased out the older equipment that ran apu's. Some here or there but mostly have epu's. There is also a fair share of people that run cpap machines within the company that I haven't heard any issues of the truck not being able to handle or a hassle to run such equipment. The region your running I personally don't run so I wouldn't be able to comment on any of that. We have cascadias, prostars, KW, and a few volvos. Govern 63 pedal 61 cruise. Reefer, dry van, curtainside, and flatbed. Depending on area or what you want to pull, up to you and what's offered. Hometime is good. Fuel bonuses don't exist. Ambient temp sensors stop most idling, I've never really had to worry about idle time, but there's tricks around it if you get clever. Dispatch will let you know if your too high and why. Roehl thread has a lot if info to dive into if you like
