So ... okay.... the latest ....

My DPF ... regeneration contraption ... got clogged and I needed a road service. I spent half a day with it in the shop b4 calling it a night after it was fixed. I drove after my HOS 10 hrs to the delivery location in Clayton NC and arrived 21 min after 12 noon ... last entry in to the docks. I had alerted the night staff and the Dispatcher that they would need to reschedule the appointment b4 bed the night b4 and they were aware of the breakdown and road service.

I wasn't allowed to deliver, the broker rescheduled for Friday at 7am earliest. It was 12:21 pm on Tuesday afternoon. I spent the next 2 days hanging around wasting time. But what else could I do. Tried as per dispatcher suggestion to gain entry and a dock to have the load accepted each morning (wed and thurs) to no avail. Delivery complete on Friday morning.

I was paid NO BREAKDOWN PAY.
I was paid $175 for the 2.5 days layover/detention. It was described as 1 unit of $175 detention pay.

I wrote an email to the dispatcher, dispatcher manager, and accounting and as is usual.... the email with specific request for return communication was ignored. My 2nd email included the HR mgr. She replied that she spoke to the dispatch mgr and was told it was discussed with the dispatcher and I was told it was settled.

    UNSATISFIED.
    BAD COMPANY / BAD BUSINESS

Worst thing is that to me 200 or 300 dollars is a big deal, but to a company that boasts 70+ drivers the weight of 200 or 300 dollars is diminished.

Do you have 12 months of verifiable experience?
Do you have a clean DAC and MVR?
How many companies have you worked for in the last 12 months?
