Naughty potty to blame for accident on I-5

A portable toilet slipped off a flatbed truck Thursday on Interstate 5, causing a new Mercedes-Benz to rear-end another vehicle.
No one was hurt, the State Patrol reported.
The toilet was empty, but the Mercedes likely was totaled, State Patrol Trooper Jeff Merrill said.
The 2 p.m. collision happened in a southbound lane near South Boeing Access Road. A cargo strap broke on the truck, which freed the portable toilet to land in the road, Merrill said.
A California couple in a rental sport-utility vehicle crashed through it. Then, a woman in a new 2007 E-Series Mercedes-Benz smacked into the SUV, Merrill said.
The truck driver was cited for allowing escape of loaded materials. The Mercedes driver was cited for following too closely, Merrill said.

I wonder what he would have been cited if the potty had been full?
And if the car had not been totaled, I certainly wouldn't want it back after that collision!
