Take a look at this - you may have a case:
File that complaint ASAP, as there is a time limit to be able to bring a lawsuit.

Oh, trust me Bigjoel, I was near hysterics when I called 911, thankfully had at least ten minutes to calm down before Johnny showed up. And don't think I would have been victorious in a fist fight with Trainer Extraordinaire (have I mentioned that I was her first trainee?); she outweighs me by about 60 pounds. Still, when you have all that adrenaline coursing thru your body, anything goes!
bigjoel and The Challenger Thank this. -
Oh, wow! The name of the place is the Stewart Lodge, a renamed Econolodge. It's right off I 90, Cle Elum is 20 miles west of Ellensburg. It's clean, has a fridge and microwave, and its right across the street from Safeway! Yay!
This is a good opportunity to tell all you folks that I have kind of, well, a semi-solution. I got on the Seattle Craigslist and posted that I needed to get back to Denver or Wyoming. A gentleman has offered to take me to Cheyenne, where my sister can easily pick me up. It's only about an hour's drive for her. He's not leaving until Monday, which is ok, but his listing was titled "Free Ride out East." Female only. I told him I would pay for gas and he declined. He also noted that he stays in nice motels, that he would pay for a room with two beds, and he sleeps in the nude. (I'm not kidding again). Further, as he's married and his wife would not approve of his taking a companion with, I have to promise to not talk while he's on the phone with her.
Ok, I've always been a bit naive, but my bigger problem is I am way trusting of people. I do have a keen gut sense, and it's never steered me wrong. I'm getting the red flags, but still thinking its an option?
Anyway, thanks so much Captain Call for taking an interest in my plight!
And please everyone, please just call me Pj
(Daddy always told me there is no such thing as a free ride) -

She was concerned, saying that there were two sides to every story and that they would have to speak with Navajo to get their side. She then said to give her a call when I get back to Denver and we'd take it from there. Where once there was enthusiasm in her tone, it now sounds like skepticism. And I am interested in flatbedding as it comes with more physical demands, which I'd like. I think.

That's fantastic, Windsmith. I was looking at OSHA as was surprised that the Dept of Labor in Colorado did not ask me to file a complaint with them. They made the phone call giving me access to my paycheck, and when the agent called back to let me know she was successful, she sked me to fill out a review of how well she did her job. Thus, the end. Thank you so much for putting in the time and researching this for me!! I know the DOT is very interested in my story, and asked that I email him all relevant details asap.
I just cannot believe that Navajo, out of sheer spite, is bringing this all on themselves! Ok, so I pissed you off. Fine, terminate my employment. But for heaven's sake, do the right thing and fork out a few dollars to do the right thing! I really do wonder if Mr. Digby is aware of this? -
I have been silently following the thread because I really can't help in any way, but thought I would chime in here.
The best of lucks to you. Hopefully this will all be over soon.thebennyman, JustPj, Leftlane101 and 3 others Thank this.
