Spoke to Darren in newsroom of Channel 9, who will put this out to newsroom and sounded like he will put a msg up here to JustPj to contact them. Here's the link to their tip line: http://www.9news.com/company/contact_us/newstips/default.aspx

Darren also seemed very interested, how bizarre and off we go! Also told him about some of the other horrors, driving 1000 miles to Orientation and then pushed out the door with nada, etc. The public does not know, does not have a clue what OTR drivers, in particular, are subjected to. A small crack in the wall? Ojalla! (Hope so!)

I honestly hope she'll make those calls. Navajo deserves to answer for their poor behavior.

I never cease to be amazed at what companies do! Is it any wonder why drivers are just wanting to get out of this industry once and for all? They're tired of the stress, aggravation, frustration and just being treated as less than cattle who don't deserve any better...

JustPj, be prepared for a long, hard, uphill battle on this front. You'll want to stick to the facts and get a top notch law firm who will represent you. Do NOT represent yourself. This truly needs to go to court. I'm so sorry that you've been treated in this way. You have our support and most everybody here is with you.

It's high time we drivers start telling our companies that if you treat us like animals, that's what you're going to get. Want to FIRE US? Who wants to work for you with conditions like this? You can't hire drivers fast enough! Besides, who wants to be gone for days, weeks and months at a time, in summer and winter conditions that aren't fit for a dog, much less a human?

Without drivers, freight doesn't get moved and you won't have a company after awhile. (But you're different and think it can't happen to you. You'll continue to lie to anyone who'll listen and paint a rosy future to the blind and deluded. You can run but you cannot hide. We know your antics; now we're going to use the power of the Internet to our advantage and tell the world and anyone who will listen just exactly what you're up to...)

Spoke to Jamie at ABC/Channel 7 news, walked her through signing up and locating this thread. She's wrapping up 10:00 clock news now and new crew will come in and look into this story tomorrow.

    Perfectionary!
Here's hoping they have a great investigative journalist and team who can really blow the lid off this whole mess...

    JustPj Thanks this.

I do hope PJ speaks to those companies as it may help her in the long run. If a reporter goes to Navajo, Navajo will have no choice but to defend their name.

Edit: Navajo could turn the reporters away but it would be in their best interest to explain themselves.

Or not comment at all, citing pending litigation.

Going to the media this early and before talking with legal counsel may be jumping the gun a bit.
