JustPJ, this is getting ridiculous. Time to get home. Leave behind/throw away/donate the non-essential stuff.

Navajo got you the money. The driving community has given it's support. Your excuses for not being on a bus at this point is suspect.

PJ If you do end up taking the Shuttle tommorow it is do able from Ellensburg but you are going to need to factor in a Taxi ride to the Greyhound in Ellensburg which is at the Love's Truck Stop. The stop in Yakima at the Howard Johnson's is a few blocks from the Greyhound in Yakima which from what I can tell is a staffed Greyhound depot.

I don't blame her. Riding greyhound can be like being sent to hell but without the luau (if you watch south park you'll get the joke!)

The pressure everyone is placing on Pj is unfair also. Right now she's safe where she's at, concerned about her gear and no doubt still in shock. Cut her some slack, folks. Home's 1500 miles away. Navajo Express had an opportunity today to step up to the plate, a lot more likely than over the weekend.

Sometime's just safe is good. Temp's very cold there. Coming back from ComDex 2000, my Westfalia broke down in Baker, CA. Couldn't figure it out. Had spark, compression, gas. Kept checking. Did a few computer jobs around town, motel gave me permission to park on some land across from a U-Haul rental just out of town so I had water and a bathroom.

Took a job at Jack-In-The Box!!!!! I'm MSFT, Novell and Cisco certified among others. But I cleaned up the dining room, did the cash register.

My three dogs were safe. That was what was important to me. Then came the day I took the valve cover off and the rocker arm fell into my hands. The cam was broke. Hitchhiked into Vegas, rented a Penske and car trailer, spent 3 days shuttling people broke down, made $$. Then took my truck home to Sky Valley, across from Cathedral City.

Sometime's just safe is good. She's safe.

    Tomorrow's a new day.

Got called in for a random pee test so my whole afternoon shot.

Sitting in Indy. Safe. Finally done with this. Still safe.

Safe is good. Give Pj a little breathing room, please.

So is it safe to assume this ex-lawyer thinks she is above riding a greyhound? This would explain alot and maybe trucking just ain't for her.

Many of us are concerned that's all.Yes shes safe and yes its cold there, don't think its going to warm up tomorrow.Navajo is willing to step up to the plate so you say, well today is over, have'nt seen any results. How long does it take to make things right for justpj.Yes shes safe but we all want her to get home and waiting for just the right time may never get here. She needs to get home. She said she paid for another 2 days.I would have been home by now.She has a lot of stuff,I would not have waitied and waited for that lady to pick me up.PJ is a nice person and I bet her family and friends would be more then happy to help.Navajo may have been just feeding you a line of pig crap to get you off the phone who knows.I don't think they're in that much of a hurry to help pj do you?

Some folks come back again and again, complain about the thread, the OP (or me) and do it thread after thread--and get thanked by the same folks for trying to pile it on.

Pj's trying to walk a line between keeping those concerned informed and distance from folks that it wouldn't matter what she said or did would still want to find some way, some way...

Really, if this thread bothers you, move on. Please.

If all you can do is find fault, move on.

    Door's not locked.

Our girl from the get go advised us that the car ride possibility wouldn't come before Monday. We're all anxious for her to get home but if she isn't being strung along, the car ride is a better option. The logistics of trying to shuttle her gear around several times is a daunting task.
