Hey flatbeddin...i am of my trainers truck genius....i have been for about a month...get with the program...also i drive for shaffer so i dont have time to sit around at truck stops all day on this forum like others do. I am just curious why vic and others continue to help someone who has obviously rejected all help thrown her way....also if u read my previous posts towards the begining i did offer advice and it was not taken just like all the other help not offered.

This has been an interesting read. I guess I'll comment.
It doesnt make a lot of sense to sit in Washington running up expenses when there have been chances to get home and address the situation with Navajo head on.
I would be willing to bet that the company has circled the wagons, and all parties involved are in the corporate offices making thier game plan. With all that has been posted on this site you are only giving ammunition to them (my opinion). Going to the media with press release? I believe in the squeeky wheel getting the grease, however, Victor she needs to do her own talking. It will hold no weight coming from you or anyone else.
PJ it sucks that this has happened. I guess you are at the point of sitting back and letting things happen or get in there and make things happen. Whats it gonna be?:biggrin_2554:

Finally back home. So, if anyone is thinking that Navajo Express, established in 1980 or so, with 762 trucks is quaking in their Digby boots over a dust up in Cle Elum, WA has another thing coming. It registers, yes, hence the call from Steve, VP of Operations.

You can also bet that Pj's trainer, Brianna, I think Longbow said her name was, is in Denver by now or darn close, depending on where she was headed when she put Pj off the truck. On any given day Navajo Express deals with bigger stuff. Wrecks, truck abandonments, breakdowns, loads canceled or damaged--this is refrigerated after all--the list goes on.

The question comes down to whether Navajo can be made to rethink this. Whether they should on a standard of fairness and ethics. Even if they don't give a hoot about fairness and ethics.

Job one for Navajo is to gather the facts. Get an idea what their exposure might be, and how much attention to give to this with all the rest of the daily pipeline of events that comes with 762 seats to fill every day, 24/7. They want to talk to Brianna, take a statement from her. Grill her a little bit as if she started a thread here on TTR and the you-know-whos come over to sniff-sniff-sniff. Brianna's quaking in her boots if she has any sense, grant you that.

But Navajo? How many trucks do you think they have that were tied up or jacknifed in that weather in Texas? They deal with stuff like that whenever it comes up. Give them that much credit. At this point they have not much concern for this more than a Grey Dog ticket. The story is that Bill Gates couldn't stop to pick up a $500 bill that flew out of his shirt pocket because it would cost him $1750 worth of his time to get it. Now if the Digby's can be convinced that it's not marigolds, but poison ivy and rose nettles they're sitting on, takes on a different complexion.

    Oh, my!!

Sorry, Buckeye. Not trying to insult you, but you just don't register on my line of sight. You're just not there.

I'm here. You're not. And you're not there, either.

Or.. they could gather the facts and conclude that they have been slandered on a public forum and file suit against any and all identifiable participants....

Not that I am saying that is what has happened... I don't know any facts..

But all parties should tread lightly when civil suits have been mentioned... anyone can be sewed...
