I'm thinking Navajo is of the mindset that she quit. Refusing to drive and so forth. It doesn't make what they did right, but it explains their lack of action. As far as they are/were concerned she decided to leave (or at least not work anymore) and as such, getting home was her responsibility. Don't get me wrong I'm not condoning their actions, but just searching for a way that I could justify it if I was under informed and the information I was getting was from a third party.
Lux Prometheus and double yellow Thank this. -
NOTHING absolutely NOTHING justifies this what so ever.I don't care how many times she refused to drive. You DO NOT dump trainees on the side of the road like a bag of garbage, you just don't.Companies are way out of hand with their treatment towards drivers and its really sad.
JustPj, Lux Prometheus, thebennyman and 2 others Thank this. -
Glad your getting home PJ and I am sorry you had to go threw this and believe it or not once did I want to stop your thread at all I just didn't want people fighting is all again I'm happy your getting home
thebennyman, Lonesome, pattyj and 1 other person Thank this. -
And again, in my previous post I said it wasn't right and I don't condone it. I'm just kind of thinking out loud here to try to understand their lack of action. Much unlike several of the members on the forum I try to look at things from more than one perspective.wichris, luvtotruck, thedouble and 1 other person Thank this. -
i would not sit to close to the door in the airplane !!!!!!
be safeluvtotruck, JustPj and thebennyman Thank this. -
But, let the company do something like this, and most refuse to believe it is possible and even side with the company.
Why not allow the driver to issue a DAC with no questions or proof in response to the ones the companies issue. -
Glad to hear you are finally making your way home. I hope you or anyone else reading this thread never has to experience anything similar (this includes you, Patty, I've been reading your postings too) as it is equivalent to torture. I'm happy you're making it home safely and I hope for your sake that Navajo employees don't give you a hard time while picking up your vehicle.
Victor V, you deserve kudos for pushing the issue and trying to get real solutions out of these very real problems. I would be so honoured to have you, or any of the contributing members here, in my corner should I ever face a problem this substantial. This thread is the perfect example of what this community could be if people have the right mindset and band together. I'm proud to be a member of this forum and the rest of you should be too.
PJ, enjoy a well deserved sleep in your own bed tonight. Safe travels getting there.thebennyman, steaburn and JustPj Thank this. -
She still has to get personal vehicle out of the NAVAJO yard so could be more problems / drama still to come .

I also feel, and you can review my post history, that a short post that includes no details and seems unfounded is actually helpful to a company. This is why I ask for more information, details always provide people with a better more clear picture of who's really at fault. This is also why we instruct our drivers not to speak too much in the event that they've been in accident. Stick to the facts, don't place blame, and only answer to the police, never the the other party.
