Navajo Express?Just want to know..

    Okay so I'm talking to a recruiter from Navajo and he mentioned ton's that I like but I would like to verify if its really true before I will go to orientation.

    Here's what he said. They will bus me to Denver for orientation about 2-3 days. Hotel , breakfast and lunch covered plus $75/day. Once I go training with trainer I get paid salary the first couple of weeks about $500 and it will increase for like 4-7 weeks. They will test me and when I get my own truck I will start .34/mile and will run average 2800-3200 miles a week.

    They have rider policy with a fee and so pet with $500 security deposit that can be deductable in my check.


    I'm a student btw. Im just making sure that he is telling me everything that I need to know or expect. Thanks!

    here is my take. They offered me a spot that week in orientation the day I put in my application. That told me all I needed to know.

    So ur also a student? I tried the search bar but not seing any recent post about the student info and what to expect n the orientation. .34/mile is decent for me esp if you will run 3000 miles a week.

    I also saw a post that they pay a day? Like $110 no mater how many miles you run a week. So is this true?

    No I went to a private school then a concrete mixer a few months. I put in several apps and went to Averitt until I tore a shoulder muscle pretty bad and left after a little over a year with them due to some issues I had with them.

    I've heard a few horror stories about Navajo trainers. Look elsewhere.

    a.) read reviews on indeed
    b.) why did you quit your original choice company? ( i know you from the other "place".)
    c.) If all else fails, why don't you look at TMC like chickiemonster???~!
    d.) Charlie and Thull are doing fine at Swift. . . why'd you write them off?
    e.) Didn't like what I read about them, overall. Just not sure why you're leaning to that.
    f.) GOOD LUCK with your endeavours, we need more women in the industry!
    g.) off to pump 6122 ... maybe you should look at tanking? My wife can sure do it.

    @TROOPER to TRUCKER was making BANK at Averitt . . . i bring home approx 1100 a week~ tanking. After insurance and taxes. There are opportunities better than some of these "offbeat" places.
    Just doesn't sound great to me.
