I have a 2016 Prostar with the factory installed battery apu system, first of all I like the system but have two complaints.
    1. When the auto start engages and starts the engine you hear 3 beeps as when you manually start the engine, needles to say it is like a alarm clock going off while you are sleeping.
    2. With the key in the off position and the auto start activated if your air leaks down the low air alarm sounds, again not good if you are sleeping.
Does anyone else have this issue or is there a problem with this particular system.

Well the air issue is either your not setting trailer brakes or you have a minor leak elsewhere. I am driving the same setup as you are and my air never leaks out unless I don't set trailer brakes and trailer has a minor leak. The beaping o. Startup well I'm not a light sleeper but wouldn't quite say I am a heavy one either it's never woken me up.
You may be able to find a quiet lot chock your wheels release all all brakes and track down the minor leak as I can see the low air waking me up that #### thing is loud on mine lol

You can mute the low air alarm when the engine is NOT running by holding up on the Panel dimmer switch and press the LCD display selector knob at the same time for about 5 seconds until it quits.

Yes I got that but unless he is in mild temperatures truck is bound to start at some point will that disable the "mute" if so I think it would be a better idea to find the minor leak and have it repaired.

Man, I've been trying to find that small air-leak for over a year+ now, even having "professional help". That buzzer going-off an hour-after you get to sleep is a "killer". I just learned reading this thread, about quieting the buzzer by holding down the dimmer+ LCD-selector knob, but that only works for me when the ignition is on. When I have the auto-start/stop feature engaged, pushing both those in at the same time won't kill the buzzer sound.
I'm really going to have to do the deep detective work myself, getting under the rig to find the leak. Interesting thread, and I've learned a lot. Tks for contributing.
