It is about time they bring back the Cummins. As a result, I expect existing carriers that have problems with their MaxxForce engines to buying Cummins equiped Prostars like hotcakes. Now if only International would revive the Scout and put it back in production.

So here is the next problem... Since International has been pushing the MF line and dropped Cummins a few years ago, not too many techs have been trained up on the newer Cummins series. SCR is all new to us now since Int'l chose to focus on EGR only. Now we will all have to scramble to get our Cummins certs updated.

lol yup, there's a meeting next week friday about all this for the dealers. I know i'll be going to cummins training because of the fleets I take care of are spec'ing ISX15's. Our dealer is already cert. because we're a pete dealer.

I take a great deal of pleasure in cats ongoing truck debacle !!! Maybe they can paint a cummins yellow ha ha !DrtyDiesel Thanks this. -
International is nothing but junk anyways. Why would a carrier go back after all the grief they got with their Maxxforce engine? I don't know why International thought they would do better by just offering their own engines. They might repower older Maxxforce engines with something different, we don't know. If those motors are that bad, I mean the article paints a picture that way.

I'd like to see the engine manufacturers have more choices. Detroit should offer to have their stuff in others vehicles.
