Thank you for the reply. Is tracking down an issue like this easy to do? Or is it something better left for the shop?

Ok, the ELD is messing with the datalink if these lights only came on after they wired it in. Usually the datalink speed is the problem. If your truck has the black diagnostic connector plug then it is slower 250k baud rate datalink speed. Green connector is the faster 500K which I think came out in 2016. So you will need to see what you have and then make sure your eld is compatible. If the problem still persists, then I would just disconnect the eld from the datalink by unplugging it or removing the fuse for it, power the truck down and then key back on to see if the warning lights go away. If they do, then something is wrong with the device or how they wired it.

    BillyBoy1978 Thanks this.

So, pre-ELD install, the warning lights would just flicker intermittently then go off. Now that they installed the ELD, the lights are solid and not flickering or going away at all. I dont know if I did a great job of clarifying that in the first post. I'll try what you suggested though. Thank you!

Hi. I’m looking to purchase a 2016 N13 ProStar. I’m curious to know are you still running your N13 if so what are some of the things that I should look for?

This is good reading. I just closed a deal on a 2016 N13. Let me know if you’re still having success..

I run a 2016 international Hx with the 400hp n13, So far its been a good engine. Its quiet and has decent enough power. Though it does burn a lot more fuel and def than the 2016 mack mp7 I was in before it.
I could go a full week without filling up the def, the n13 2x a week.
Mack also had more power and didnt heat up near as fast on a hard pull.

They really have not had too many problems that ive seen. One had a 5mph derate that I can remember. The a26 powered units have been very reliable.
