CRUISER09, have you tried calling Schneider to see if they would take you back and just put you through their 1-week Orientation followed by 2 weeks of OTR with an experienced driver? Lodging and lunch provided if you go this route. My road instructor during Orientation said Schneider needs 2000 drivers ASAP and some of the "experienced" drivers coming over were worse than the school graduates they've seen. It's worth a phone call. I'll even give you the name and number of my recruiter at the Charlotte OC that got me set up. She won't blow any smoke up your backside and will work hard to answer any questions you have.

 

I don't know about horror stories. I've been with them 2 years.

The problem with Schneider is that I won't take THEM back!

Their school in Carlisle was excellent. One week at their terminal in Jersey and I had had it with them.

When I go back driving it will be with Watkins and Shepard. They were good to me.
