Whenever there is no guarantee It's a must that I see payroll for at least the last 30-60 days or I say no and take my service somewhere else. Guys we have to learn to say no and mean it.

That's exactly what was going on up there. They had guys sitting idle for days. They make enough to pay the bills so they deal with it.
That's what the while trucking industry needs is for everyone to stand up and just do what's right for themselves.

Simply because of the regulatory fines they give us and how they set up shop every couple miles to give them to us.
Its not worth it to drive for peanuts. -
I was very skeptical of this company because of all the bad reviews i've read online. Before I took my drug test I visited the yard again and met a mechanic and two drivers and I just couldn't do it. I'm so glad I didn't.
There is a reason why they're constantly hiring, even know they pay $30 an hour.Utah Ditch Thanks this. -
That's the deal.
Thing I didn't realize at first was.... They fly you in and out on Tuesday/Wednesday.... So your short weeks never hit 70. -

Back during the Boom I was making $4,000 a week fueling equipment for Thomas petroleum. That was at $23 an hour 120 plus hours a week because we got paid travel time to and from the site. One of the easiest driving jobs I ever had.
