Need 5000 trucks to converge on Washington DC in June! Lets do it, we need to fight back!

I work 5 days a week and 40 hours.. im not going anywhere but to my bedroom after work and put on the movie aliens efore i go to bed. Us local drivers dont have to worry about elds and stuff. So my advice is to quit driving over the road and local haul and be home every night

 

But I like over the road most days, whenever I'm home I only seem to spend money anyway

 

Well brotha, I take it back then. Always do the job that you like the most! So I feel your pain when people put restrictions on ya

 

My biggest problem is I don't like working for other people

 

Winner winner chicken dinner. I haven't been an employee since before i turned 18. And even then I worked for my dad. Cant imagine having a boss/supervisor.

 

Yeah well I’m an owner operator. Start saving your hard earned cash and buy your own rig brotha. Preferably an older one

 

Yea I have my own truck, trailer and numbers working out mostly good could use a little better paying loads may have to try a little something else

 

Why can't we do it now while rates are down?
Why do it when rates are up?
To show we are smarter than them?

 

Refer freight is on fire right now. And flatbed in the southeast has really taken off. But its slacked off in the Ohio valley for some reason. Cleveland to harrisburg down 41 cents to 3.99 a mile. Similar drops on other lanes such add rock island to Indianapolis. Still tho, that's a grand a day on short miles. Hard to not make money on that rate.

 

Yea I like to stay over here on my side of the Mississippi fewer coops and they don't do random pull overs usually
