My truck has needed a bumper since i bought it. Both corners were slightly damaged but from driving down the road one side has cracked up real bad on the inside and has little strenght left. I've talked to my local dealer and the factory parts all come unpainted and by the time i'm done with the chrome trim and paint it'll be $2000. So I'd like to get a one piece chrome one but this seems to be difficult to find. I hear there are two different size measurements to the side of the bumper but I've found one chrome one online that only comes in one size. The other problem i have is I need one with the driving lights. That seems to be an issue with some aftermarket guys and some guys don't know what I'm talking about. the prices run around $700. But i'd like to be able to see it before i buy it or at the very least buy one off of someone that knows what they're talking about.
Can anyone recommend a parts guy or a chrome shop that can help me with this? I'm based out of Long Island NY so any place from Newburgh NY down to Philly would work for me. I'd like to be able to see it and buy it at the same time. but would be willing to buy it sight unseen from a reputable guy.
Thanks,
Chris

I woild call Elizabeth Truck Center in Elizabeth, NJ. They are right off of Rt 1-9 just off exit 13-A on the turnpike. If they can't get it for you, it probably doesn't exist. Here's the link; http://www.elizabethtruckcenter.com/index2.shtml

They make the Bumper you are looking for, they are Stainless Steel with the cutouts for the Factory Driving and Fog Lights. You can order it from your Volvo Dealer. They aren't cheap, but you get what you pay for, plus Chrome Bumpers will eventually wind up peeling.
I've seen one on a 780 and it looks really nice. -
Your profile doesn't indicate what part of the country your in. If in the Southeast and you go through Atlanta check out this place....http://www.richardkernstruckparts.com/ Give them a call and see if they either have it or can point you in the right direction. Ebay is sometimes good for this stuff too - shipping costs suck but what can you do.

Picked up a great one last week from a chrome shop in Elizabeth NJ. Would like to upload a few pics but I can't figure out how to do it from my phone to this website. Got it for $850. With the fog light cut outs I needed. It looks awesome!
