OK here is the deal. I am 28 years old and have been driving since 2001 the first two years for DOT Foods and after that for my mother in law, who desided becouse of the fuel prices to sell the truck. I have been out of the truck since september of 2006 and during that time I reseved 3 ticket in my persinal car. one for speed 1 to 10 miles over the limit one for a stop sighn violation and one for speeding 20 to 25 miles over the limit. I have no felonies no DUI or acedents or any thing else in me background to hold me back. but I have been turned down for EVERY singel job I have applied for becouse of the one speeding tickit 20 to 25 miles over the limit. I am a vary loyal trucker who knows my job vary well. and my former employer (my mother in law) has nuthing but positive things to say about me. At this point I am making no money and I am facing forclosure on my house, needless to say the situation is getting despreate.
my question is, is there any trucking companies that will hire me.
any feedback or comments are welcome.

I had one written for 72 in a 55, in my car. I didn't contest it and paid it,that was a big mistake. It wasn't for 20 over, that is your problem. Drivers that speed make insurers see big settlements and claims in their futures , which is why they want nothing to do with your future. There are companies that will hire you, they hire guys with sr 22 insurance and probationary licenses. They generally don't do over the road. Getting the name of these companies is hard. I would try your job service if you haven't already, you are unemployed. Good luck to you.

Thank you for your reply What "job service" are you refearing to -
Can you prove you drove for your mother in law.Does she have proof of tax returns paid during her trucking business,if not, that might be your problem, you have to have been driving consistently before most companies will consider you.I would go on bubba trucking jobs.apply there, see who calls back and qualifies you,if they don't get ahold of you there is something wrong,I have done this in the past and at least a half dozen companies wanted me to work for them.I hope you make out fine,be persistant when you talk to pre employers.

well driver, all i can tell you is that, you will have to look for an owner operator that will let you drive for him.Any speed over 15 mph is reckless
driving. You will have to find someone that don't check with the state dept.on Driver lic,or one that will hire you to team drive with someone,as a second seat driver.good luck, you are going to need it.at least for ten years.(untill your record clears)
