I’m frustrated on loading and unloading time And lumpers just been running 3 weeks now, im in chicago now and want stay here for short loads , do you think short loads are more profitable than long hauls?

You are the captain if so.

Lumpers, Wait times, risk, Equipment costs are the reasons why Reefer freight is SUPPOSED to cost more than van freight.
You can't work for free! .. So don't haul it cheap !!
