I have seen in the box and flatbed threads opinions on the two but it may not be as big of difference with tankers.

the differences are wait time, less with tankers, could be hours with flatbed, and possibly all day when doing OS. doing OS pays good

rright, I just wanted to tell you that whole hometime thing is irrelevant in my case. So you waited till you got experience for OS. Man, thats gonna be up in the air for me for a bit but overall you like it the best?

I started out flat bed,and love it OS is just a slower pace more rules and day light hours, but I really love what I do. the biggest challenge with driving truck is finding happiness if you find it you got it made. doing oversize isn't hard just more patients.

Maybe in a couple years I'll give it a go. speaking about fun, what do you prefer to do to pass time in the cab? any road hobbies?
