I will not trust any dealership on this matter. Their goal is to sell truck, maintenance record doesn't fix any problems. And truck has problems 100%. Otherwise why they sell it? Replaced ECM will automatically turn me off this truck. You don't have abuse history in new ECM.
1000 trucks for sale why take a risk?
P.S. My last truck from dealership was with fresh DOT inspection. Drove her 2 miles to service shop where was discovered broken air chamber bracket. Crack was rusty, so it's not just happens.
Would you trust them on engine if they blindly signed DOT inspection report?
Need advice from o/o that have purchased used trucks

First off I don't trust dealerships either, secondly this was a fleet vehicle and most companies generally turn in their trucks at a certain mileage before the problems tend to occur... So that's the why
But please tell me more about this abuse history...what exactly is in that file on an ecm? -

I hate the way voice texting adds that "oh" to everything I say, the reason I wanted to see the maintenance records, Was to get an idea how often the truck was in for problems, and what type of problems were addressed when put in the shop

Is the maintenance records on a truck something a salesperson should be able to produce if requested?
