If it goes on ur record then you can't drive a CDL truck for a long time. It doesn't matter if you got the ticket in your personal vehicle. If you would have got your DUI in a big truck then your CDL would be gone forever.
I doubt anyone will hire you for at least 5 years. -
lawyer up!!

IMO: The smart thing to do would be DONT DRINK AND DRIVE,
walleye, basstime54, Big John and 2 others Thank this. -
Prepare to hire a driver for your truck.
Or "old school".................................
obtain another license !!! -
Are you kidding? - I actually thought this thread was gonna be a joke...

The only safe place to drink is HOME and when your NOT going anywhere...
Yea...get a lawyer...and have a nice pile of money for the fines/lawyer and court costs...
Missouri Drunk Driving Fines & Penalties:
1st Missouri DUI Offense
First Drunk Driving Conviction
Jail - Up to 6 Months
Fine- Up to $500
License Suspension - 30 Days Full Suspension
License Suspension - 60 Days Restricted (After Serving 30 Day Full)
$45 License Reinstatement Fee
..of course here in WI, the 1st DUI is the equal to your average 'parking' ticket.

What???
The last cdl holder I know that got a dui lost his cdl for a year,......And lost his job over it,....
A dui is the death nail for a cdl holder,.... -
I was referring to your basic car DUI. WI laws are pathetic. I think you need like 3-4 of these before it becomes anything of value.....
It's like WI encourages drinking of course...
