FIGHT IT. get the best lawyer you can afford, I got a DUI in 95. Before I started driving. I took a guilty plea for a lesser fine and lower jail time. It has bit me in the ##^ at every turn since. Have to put it on every job app, as it was considered a criminal offense not just a moving violation. Couldn't get in to Canada untill just a year ago, so you have to let your employer know why. If you don't think you can beat it, it will be nearly impossible to make a living in this industry. As others have said probably 5 years before most companies can touch you. Best of luck to you.

Don't listen to all the doom and gloom. It is what it is, and now you just need to make the best of it. First step is to make sure you find a top notch lawyer who has lots of experience with DUI cases. They need to CONVICT you before you face consequences from a DUI.

There are options out there, team up with another driver, put the truck in someone elses name.

People make mistakes!! Learn from your mistake, dont repeat it and figure out how your going to deal with this situation with minimal damage.

    Good luck to you
