i got pulled over for a level 2 right on a side of a highway in Texas (highway 59 is brutal on that). I showed an expired tractor registration and a temporary permit registration allowing me to drive for 3 days. Well, temporary permit my company gave me had a wrong truck on it. So the officer writes me a ticket for "driving an unregistered vehicle." It's a state law violation. I find out the next day that my truck was properly registered before the level 2 but they simply didn't fax me the correct registration in time. It seems that I can fight this ticket easy through (for example) "tvc truckers voice in court" company. It'll cost me like $300. Anyone thinks it's easy or hard to fight off this ticket? I mean the truck was properly registered, i just didn't have proof of registration? Thanks
Need advice on a ticket I recieved

Well the truth is if they haven't paid it buy now they are not going to and why is that because part of your pre trip requires you to make sure all inspection stickers permits and fuel permits and licenses and isurance is up to date otherwise you dont drive the truck the thing is yes they are responsible for purchasing theses things but no they dont always keep up with it and since you didnt check documantation you really have nothing to stand on and they know it .. so I guess just pay it consider it a learning lesson and move on

so an update. the company gave me 165 dollars (cost of the ticket fine) cause they accepted that they screwwed up by implicitly asking me to drive with a wrong registration. I paid 500 dollars all together for tvc package. It's 2 montsh of free legal services covering tickets and accidents. The 500 also covered their attorney which fought my wrong registration ticket. So 2 weeks after the incident, my ticket was dissmissed. I guess i paid up like 350 dollars and my company 165 dollars to dismiss the registration ticket at the end of the day.
