    She said in the OP that a tour bus slid and hit him, knocking off the mirror. That was one of the reasons he did not want to move. In addition was the ice storm, so he did not want to move.
    He can in NO way be responsible for paying a deductible for damages done by another vehicle. Just an owner trying to extort cash from an unwitting driver. Even if he did sign a form that money could be take for damages HE, the driver caused, it does not allow to take money for damages caused by someone else. That is what insurance is for.

    it is a crappy company but at the time was the only one hiring , needless to say he will be looking again during hometime

    I'd quit that outfit long before being fired,there's plenty of driving jobs out there to be had so why work for them.
