Recently got diagnosed with fibromyalgia and it's caused me to not be able to do my current job (working at 30+ feet on a ladder and carrying over 100lbs) and I'm trying to see if it's possible to get back to trucking with fibromyalgia. I got my CDL back in 2019 and I did 4 months of training with Wiley Sanders and it turned me off of trucking but I think it was the trainer I had. He was a horrible person who was so negative about everything and trying to change trainers didn't do anything. I've been wanting to come back for awhile but I don't know what company to go with if I can drive. I live in southern Alabama if that helps. I really appreciate any help y'all can give me
Need advice on entering trucking with fibromyalgia

One driver on here went with AMX, but didn't stay long. He said he could barely break even with the pay.

All you need is a new DOT physical, pass a drug test and a company that will hire you and give you a refresher course.

Him8282 and Rideandrepair Thank this. -
I appreciate the help. KLLM was one of the companies I looked at before I went with Wiley Sanders. Does anyone have any experience with them? I was also looking into Werner but I'm not sure if they have a refresher course

I'm also wondering about refresher courses. Can we go pay for them out of pocket if need be? Cost? If anyone knows please let us know. Thanks
