:yes2557:If you have the money I would go to a community college to get your training. Those company schools will have you sign a contract to drive for then 1 yr. By reading all the post on this forum i find that its not a good idea to go to a company school. Just weigh all your options before you jump in. You may find that you made a bad decision, then it will be to late.:biggrin_25513:

just go to the local tractor trailer school in your area get a package from them cause no matter what over the road company you go to you are going to have do all there training as if you dont have a tractor trailer license due to the fact that you don't have any over the experience.... but at lest you'll have it before you pick a o.t.r company.cause some of these o.t.r company's will send you home if you fail the pre-trip on the road test..at lest with the local driving school in your package you can get up to 3 road test. if you fail... :biggrin_2558:
