I have four years of grocery delivery driving and have gotten laid off. My question is what are the best companies to work for if you want to be home weekly and make decent money while driving good equipment. I know what otr means but i don't have to make big money because my wife is a nurse and makes good money. My kids are very athletic and are in everything and i don't want to miss out on everything. Please don't respond with negativity i need help and advice. Btw i live in Oklahoma if that helps!
Need advice truckers!

Try Fremont Contract Carriers out of Fremont, NE. At least that is a start. They try and get everyone home weekly, and after almost 4 years with them, they stand behind their word.

A lot of carriers have dedicated accouts to one customer the only draw back at times you are asked to do an overnight once a week. And some never, they don't pay a great deal but enough to to get by.

You won't be satisfied with any company someone gives you here unless they pm you a secret one. If you have been doing well with the local deliveries you won't be able to stand the OTR bs with an average company.
