That's some dead-honest advice that I would give word-for-word as well. If you're looking to start a business, look at something more profitable, less regulated, less EVERYTHING. New trucks can bankrupt you in no time with all the emissions and electronic problems they have these days.
I have a friend with a hot dog truck. He figures after he buys the hot dogs and buns, condiments, all the expenses and insurance, he works on a 40% profit margin off of hot dogs. Highly unlikely realizing 40% return in this business. I'd go with the hot dogs.
Still need to be in the trucking business? Have a used pre-emission Volvo hot dog truck built then, you'll be glad in the end...
