    Hey Guys,
Looks like I might move around a bit from truck to truck. I have a cobra 29 CB and I am looking for a magnetic mount antenna. What do you guys like? Doesn't have to be the best on the market but something to do an OK job. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

I used a K-40 with good results I'm shure other antennas in the 5 foot tall range will work well too .

Wilson 1000 hands down is all you will ever need.

I'd go with Wilson 1000. The only problem that I see is alot of todays trucks are fiberglass. And if yours is? A Mag mount won't work.

Dirt and other abrasives can get between the magnet and your vehicle, and can really scratch up the finish (learned that the hard way). I found it helpful to put something clean and soft between the magnet and the vehicle. The easiest thing I found was an old sock, preferrably with a cushioned sole. I would just slip it over the magnet and I was good to go. When it gets wet or dirty, toss it in the wash or use another sock.

    Same here!

But like already said many trucks the magnet will not stick to..
