I dont' think it matters that you worked under the table so long as that employer will vouch for your employment if asked.

The companies won't ask for paystubs unless you were self-employed or some other claim.

I wouldn't make a big deal of the SSI and under table thing though.

 

It always amazes me when folks post in an open internet forum about how they have breaking the law.

 

Safety in numbers I assume.

 

And you ask why our taxes are so high? And he probably thinks he did a great thing by collecting free money from the working class and then not paying taxes on the money that he earns. Very good example of the morals, or lack of, in this country. As my dad used to say " if you did not earn it then you don't deserve it".
