It's probably going to be 84 15 287 220 26 25.

You can't come up to Denver from the south on 25. Alot of that is over 6000 feet. Monument hill is (I think) 7800. And Raton Pass at the Co. NM border is 7800

Yes. Homestake Pass East of Butte is about 6300.

Look at it this way. If the chips blow the doors open on the van. There's plenty of wildlife to clean it up.
Seriously.... they must know the route they'll accept. -
Whats the big deal about keeping it under 6000 ft ? with all the mountains and hills between OR - CO it can't be done unless you use a helicopter and just sit at 5000 ft. then you've still got to clear the mountains which are way higher so would have to go all the way around just as you would in a truck still can't see it being done.
