No someone posted a actual link. There was a trucker who got trapped trying to overjack turning around between trees on a small trail. He had a load of chips on.

I have been very carefully leaving that subject alone. There has been times in my past trucking where GPS got me trapped inside a celluar compound that was built on a marked road that was cut off, buried under grass and a new route moved and built further east half a mile to US1. But my GPS did not update that little detail in the fog.

There is a certain amount of thinking to these loads. If something isnt right stop where you are and call boss. That's pretty much all I have to say about that.

As far as "Burner accounts" let's just say that there have been times in TTR in the past where someone will try to post some BS or whatever and it would take but a few minutes for a mod to toss him or her for one reason or another. I don't worry about that stuff too much.

What you will get sometimes is teasing, correcting, updating and maybe some horseplay. That's all well and good. I don't mind it too much. But I do have my limits and that is where the ignore list comes into play occasionally. It's all good don't worry about it.

I can tell you that trucking has provided me with some loads that are really bad about where they are going. As if they don't exist. One example would be pulling up to this shack and gate after counting off the 3/10 of a mile off a nice twolaner or something after multipule assurances by boss and dispatcher that I should turn left here and follow this dirt road this awaya, trust us they told me.

But pray tell where in sam hill is this warehouse they told me is around here somewhere?

Gaurd checks my bills, checks me and truck and says turn into my gate, go straight. A hole will open, you drop down into there with that whole truck. Slow.

It turns out the entire faculty is underground. *Shrugs. you get used to it after a few different places.

The lowest crossing of the Continental Divide in MT is Rogers Pass on 200. From there it would be easy to find your way to Billings and head south.

Blue Mtn summit in OR is well under 6000’ so that’s still no excuse for that kid to wander out through the woods.

If it is the load I am thinking I did it a few times, always thinking it crazy to do a 1000 mile run tacking almost 3/4 on it. They paid for the extra miles, had the route to follow stamped on the bills which they asked to initial, It is a long light run so hills are no problem, think I took that cut off over to hatch on 25 then n to wherever 87/287 set off, might have to take 54 e a bit.

I'm glad they don't ship potato chips on flatbeds.

Edited to add: I would probably chain them out of spite.

I ran up 25 to Denver from Phoenix with chips. You’re going to need to be routed through Montana and idaho probably to do it. I don’t think 80 is much above 6k though. I wouldn’t take a load of chips down 80 because of the wind. Screw the claim.

When you cross that first scale get out. Go inside and ask them to give you the code. You might have to give them the secret handshake though. Any federal marshall can help you with how to do this handshake. However you might have to tell them who really had Kennedy killed. If all this fails give the marshals the codeword for that week. Anyway once you leave that scale let @MACK E-6 know. He will call that special number he has and light up that secret tunnel. The location of this tunnel is a closely guarded secret. So understand once you get to colorado a guy in a black helicopter might have to kill you.
