Don't mention the $25,000.00 bid to any other shop. Just say "How much to patch this so it doesn't leak water, and doesn't look too bad?"Last edited: Apr 6, 2018

Limited # shops work on big trucks so you have to find one who will do repair, or someone privately. If you got the time you could likely fix it yourself with some tin/rivets and fibreglass. 10 minutes

Don't you have collision and comprehensive insurance?
Go through your insurance and get your truck fixed, and in the meantime get a loaner or rental truck and carry on.
Either that or have TEC of California, Fontana order the parts and keep on driving until the parts arrive and then get a rental truck.
No, you cannot just fix the hole in your roof, it would take more labor hours to fix the hole than it would to just replace the roof cap.Last edited: Apr 6, 2018

Use your insurance and get it repaired properly.
That's why you pay the big bucks for insurance, if you're not going to use your insurance, than why have it?
Even if you had a shade tree mechanic try to repair it, the repair would be noticeable and it will likely start cracking and falling apart in a few years.
If you can't afford to fix a two year old truck, you can't afford to be in business.
Pay once, cry once.wallance Thanks this.
