Need comfortable driving outfits

That depends on the actual hat. You have a lot of choices to make. You will need several as well. You can’t go wearing your day hat out at nighttime, just not proper. Then you need your Saturday hat and a Sunday hat. None of these should be confused with you dress hat or show hats. Might want to check if the local feed store has any classes on hat etiquette as well. One thing you don’t want to do is start talking hats, then try to start talking boots. That’s a whole nuther subject.

 

As a southern boy I can tell you.. Cowboy hats belong at costume parties and alternative lifestyle clubs.

The actual stetson hat that you all think is a real cowboy hat was not invented until the next century. They all wore something more like a derby back then..

Who cares, if you like the look, wear it. It originated in south America anyway. Cowboy hats, vests, boots, and spurs were a Mexican thing before we picked it up.

I know British guys that wear it because they like the look. They have obviously never done anything Southern like bull or horse riding and they have a the British accent with it. They are honest about it, but it makes them happy. All that matters in my book.

 

It was amusing. But as long as you are honest about it, you can't help but find it complimenting.

 

The British speak English better than we do, it's their language before we picked it up and changed it a bit. The Southern look is ours, they don't necessarily do that look as well as we do, but it's all good. It's a fair trade.
