    Hey all can anyone give me any current info on swift orientation in jonestown pa?

    how have things been at swift and what goes on at thieir orientation???

    also how long is the mentor waiting period for swift flatbed.

    I just got feedback from my assigned recruiter at Swift. They are only hiring through their school system and NOT "walk-ins" with a CDL-A "due to the economy". That's a direct quote from my recruiter. Right now, I can't gamble with taking 13 days off and traveling to Memphis for training that I am not sure I am cut out for or pass. I'd rather take a little more time with a local school here in Chicago.

    then why would a recruiter tell me to fill out a new application and that she will start working on it and give her a call on thursday? Maybe its because im on the east coast? and 50 miles from harrisburg

    Swift hiring is done on a terminal-by-terminal basis. I was told Phoenix is not hiring at this time but Albuquerque is.
