Need direction for new carrier process

    Just received my dot and mc numbers. I filed my boc3 and UCR registration and background check for me my co-partner. I got my own truck been using it as a o/o lease on a different company and have IRP registration plates. What else do I need to be complaint and what tools are out there to help me along the way? I was looking at dat website and they were going to help with dot compliance.
    Other things I know I need to do are
    Ifta
    Eld device
    Drug tests
    Get insurance

    All the info needed is on the fmcsa site. Just keep looking. It can be messed up but for the feds it isn’t too bad.

    It seems like this is my go to answer, for most O/O and undies questions.
    Call OOIDA business service dept. Get guidance from people who do it for a living. (That $45 membership can keep a lot of head aches away) not to mention thier own freight board and members forum.
