Straight white male 48 years old. Recent two months OTR experience (with trainer/co-driver).
    I live south-east of Orlando.

We will haul 53 foot trailers for Fedex, XPO, T-force, Roadrunner. and various other shippers.
95% drop and hook. Live load/unload is rare but sometimes happens.
    No endorsements are required.
Typical team runs are southeast (usually Georgia) to southwest (California) to northeast or midwest.
New automatic Freightliner Cascadia trucks (2020 or newer).
2 to 4 weeks out at a time.
My current truck has a soft suspension (better for sleeping). Hurry while I still have it :)

Words that describe me are: Civilized, Intelligent, Humble
If you are quick-to-anger, if everything must be your way (little regard for what others say and want),
If you can not handle criticism or complaints, if you like to shout,
then probably we will be incompatible.

I strongly believe in free speech. We don't have to agree with each other or like what we hear,
but we must listen to each other (and listen to our company and to our customers whether we agree
or like what we hear). I can accept any criticism or request as long as you have good reasons.
Be reasonable, explain your reasons, listen to criticism (of your reasons), and let logic determine
    our actions and inactions.

    MrBryan Thanks this.

Hello. I have a few questions.
    1. Is it a W-2 or 1099 gig?
    2. How many miles per week?
    3. Pay?
    Thanks!

    1. 1099. Truck is leased. no cameras inside truck. My current truck is a 2022 Freightliner Cascadia.
    2. We are paid a percentage of each delivered load. 33% for each driver and 33% for the company.
Georgia to California to (Pennsylvania/New Jersey/NY state) to Florida might be one whole week.
We pay our own fuel bill. We always try to buy cheap diesel.
    3. Weekly pay depends on how how much the loads pay, how much we spend on fuel, and how
many loads per week. Longer routes, and NE routes seem to pay more.
Honestly, I am barely out of training. I was paid $600/week during my 6 weeks of training.
And then I went OTR with a teammate who quit after one week.
I would say $1000-$2000 per week.
If you want $2000/week, then run hard and go to New Jersey or NY state, and buy only the cheapest fuel.
Realistically, $1000-$1500/week due to delays (breakdowns/maintenance/repairs, cancelled loads, etc).
We pay for our own fuel but we do not pay for truck/trailer repairs.

Hi- My name is Marlene. 55 y/o female with about 18 months experience. Went to truck driving school in Jacksonville, back in 2017. Got hit twice ( not at fault), and still let go. Have not been in a truck since December, 2019. I have a tiny, laid back service dauschand that rides/goes everywhere with me- clean; non smoker except vaping. Don’t mind staying out/ not concerned about hometime- would probably spend my days off in motel wherever. Easy going, don’t like being yelled at. Safety and vigilance important. Don’t want any problems, as I giving this a second chance. Looking to make money too. Do you have your own truck or do you drive for a company. Jmarlene709@gmail.com

How much will I get paid? What expenses am I responsible for. Hometime not important.
